Hello! My name is Anna, I'm a photographer and designer located in the Chicago-land area. I was the Lead Photographer and Assistant Designer at Fox Outdoor Products for the previous seven years. During my time there, I worked to improve both e-commerce and lifestyle photography through consistency, clarity, and creativity. My photography played a critical role in establishing an overall tone and delivering the brand message by developing a distinct and authentic visual identity. I was responsible for photographing and editing the entire Fox Outdoor product line, which included over 3,000 products, for use in digital and printed materials. Along with white-background e-commerce images, I took nature-based lifestyle photos, where I managed entire photoshoots and directed any models.
I assisted in creating Fox Outdoor’s newly migrated e-commerce website to the Shopify platform. During development, I was responsible for writing product copy, page content creation, and assisted with SEO and accessibility implementations. Post-launch, I managed all product information, content and pricing.
I created original graphics utilized for various marketing materials such as e-mails and flyers, along with apparel designs. I worked directly with the Creative Director to ensure brand consistency and standards were met, while still challenging myself to be creative and found inspiration through unconventional sources.
As Lead Illustrator at Green Ivy, my responsibilities included creating and designing primarily children's books, as well as book covers for various genres. I used both traditional and digital methods, starting with hand drawn pencil-and-paper illustrations and completing them digitally with Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
I worked closely with the marketing team to help develop campaign identities by utilizing specific photoshoots and creating designs unique to their respective campaigns. I was also responsible for monitoring and gathering marketing data from campaigns for further analysis.
While I am comfortable working solo on a project or task, I enjoy and thrive within a team-oriented environment. My experience after working within many teams has not only allowed me to become a better colleague, but also has allowed me to grow as an artist.
